Learn how to revitalize vacant lots at the Vacant to Vibrant Summit

The Urban Neighborhood Initiative Green Space and Urban Farms Action Group invites you to attend the Vacant to Vibrant: Regional Vacant Lot Summit on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center.

The summit convenes individuals and organizations across the region who are using an array of green infrastructure techniques to spur social, environmental and economic prosperity for residents in the Greater Kansas City region.

The keynote address will be presented by Anika Goss, Executive Director of Detroit Future City. Other topics include a vacant lot mapping tool, working with native plants and “Transforming Desperation to Abundant Harvest.”
