PrepareMetroKC.org is the go-to website for residents in the nine-county Kansas City region to prepare for any emergency. And now it has a new look.

The redesigned site makes it easier for visitors to quickly and easily access critical information. Additionally, PrepareMetroKC.org is now responsive to all devices and its content is available for translation into Vietnamese, Spanish and Chinese.

Visit www.PrepareMetroKC.org to:

  • Get the latest on COVID-19 in the region, including the Kansas City Region COVID-19 Data Hub, guidelines for responsible re-entry and information on stopping the spread.
  • Prepare for natural disasters and other hazards by learning about the risks from floods, storms, carbon monoxide poisoning and more.
  • Create a plan and make an emergency supply kit with helpful checklists.

PrepareMetroKC was developed by the Metropolitan Emergency Managers Committee (MEMC) to help spread awareness and promote disaster preparation and response in the greater Kansas City region.
