PrepareMetroKC.org was developed by the Metropolitan Emergency Managers Committee (MEMC) to help spread awareness and to promote disaster preparation and response in Greater Kansas City. The site was created in cooperation with the Regional Homeland Security Coordinating Committee and is supported with funding from the Department of Homeland Security.
